Wailua Golf Course was first built as a 9-hole golf course in the 1930’s.  The second 9 holes were added in 1961. Toyo Shirai designed this expansive course, landing it three USGA Amateur Public Links Championships and a vote by Golf Digest as one of Hawaii’s best 15 golf courses.

The Kauai Museum is a cultural sanctuary housing numerous Hawaiian artifacts and art of Native Hawaiians. The Kauai Museum gift shop is also a must-see, offering an extensive book collection, unique Hawaiian crafts, Ni'ihau shell leis, and vintage collectibles.

This quaint but charming museum provides programs and exhibitions focused on Kauai' s ecology, geology and climatology. Kokee's Museum also provides basic information on trail conditions in Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Parks.
