Wailua Golf Course was first built as a 9-hole golf course in the 1930’s. The second 9 holes were added in 1961. Toyo Shirai designed this expansive course, landing it three USGA Amateur Public Links Championships and a vote by Golf Digest as one of Hawaii’s best 15 golf courses. One of the best things to do in Kauai Hawaii is golf, and the Wailua Golf Course is just minutes from the hotel.

This quaint but charming museum provides programs and exhibitions focused on Kauai' s ecology, geology and climatology. Kokee's Museum also provides basic information on trail conditions in Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Parks.
